Dr. Jessica A. Leonard, D.C. is a trained and licensed chiropractor in Kentucky. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY and her Doctorate of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. She has also completed a global health internship in Nicaragua. In addition to her degrees, Dr. Leonard has extensive training in functional rehabilitation, Mckenzie Therapy, Instrument and non Instrument assisted soft tissue technique, Kinesio Taping and Motion Palpation technique. This knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics allows Dr. Leonard to approach patients' acute, chronic and functionally limited conditions.
The basis of Dr. Leonard's treatment philosophy is created around increasing patients' health, wellness and improving a conscious lifestyle. She encourages patients to be involved in the recovery process by providing rehabilitative exercises and nutritional insight in addition to chiropractic care to ultimately treat and prevent further injury.
Outside of the office, Dr. Leonard enjoys yoga, hiking and exploring Kentucky with her husband Shane and her two pups Dolly and Percy.
